Job description

Position Summary 

Team leader of the spare parts function, with responsible for the day to day operations. Interfacing with maintenance departments to develop accurate and reliable Asset and Maintenance BOMs and assuring critical spares are available as required.

This position is 8am-5pm and is 100% onsite at our Salt Lake City manufacturing facility. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Team leader of the Spare parts area with responsibility for day to day operations.   
  • Provides guidance and makes recommendations regarding Spare parts standardization and supplier consolidations.
  • Works with maintenance departments and purchasing to improve sourcing methods and pricing. Initiates and reviews RFQs, quotations and requisitions.
  • Oversees the spare parts stocking process, assures timely issuing of components, 
  • Responsible for cycle counts and the inventory accuracy reporting

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical expertise related to molding and automation equipment.
  • Oracle applications knowledge, Microsoft Office suite
  • Spare parts, Oracle EAM, Inventory and BOM is highly desired.

Education and Experience 

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School diploma or GED required; Associates Degree or Technical Training desired.
  • Five years of Inventory Management experience required.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment 

  • This is largely a sedentary role. 
  • This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. Must be able to occasionally move and lift objects of up to 25 lbs
  • Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time
