Requirements:

  • BA or equivalent in Business, Sustainabilty,Ecology, Horticulture or Construction Management
  • Experience in project management, roofing or horticultural sales helpful.
  • Experienced with roofing contractors, GC’s, and owners
  • Team player with efficient work habits and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated to optimize success.
  • Strong sales closing and relationship building skills.
  • Knowledgeable of design build processes.
  • Interfaces with clients to coordinate installations
  • Strong face-to-face relationship builder.
Essential Functions:
  • Represents the best interests of LiveRoof in the areas of sales, customer education, technical support, sales and customer service. 
  • Must be driven to improve the environment and must love plants and ecology.
  • Must be available for travel, flexible, and work independently to find leads and close sales.
  • Attends (with other staff members) local tradeshows (about 2 per year), where great communication is a must.
  • Generates purchase orders, confirms and coordinates deliveries, and schedules hotel accommodations.  Also, maintains a weekly call list, completes travel logs and daily activity sheets when in the office. 
Position Insights:Develop, educate, present, maintain business relationships with roofing contractors, architects, landscape architects, general contractors, and property managers.
Daily local travel to visit customers, prospects, job sites.Position Highlights:
  • Overnight travel varies based upon where salesperson lives.  Minimum of 3-4 days per week are spent meeting with customers and project influencers.
  • In office or home office possible.
  • Salary plus commission.
