Horizon Flex Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient practice in Homestead, Florida. In this role, you will serve as a vital partner for our patients on their journey toward regaining movement and optimizing functionality. Work Environment

Situated in the vibrant community of Homestead, our outpatient office is designed to foster collaboration and comfort. You will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a supportive and dynamic environment that emphasizes teamwork and patient-centered care. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technology, and you will have the opportunity to interact closely with a diverse patient population seeking to improve their physical well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed assessments to identify patient goals and needs, and develop comprehensive care plans tailored to meet those specific objectives.
  • Deliver quality therapy to approximately 2 to 3 patients per hour, providing one-on-one attention while utilizing a variety of treatment modalities.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions designed to improve movement and mobility while reducing the reliance on medications and avoiding unnecessary surgeries.
  • Guide clients through effective exercises, continually motivating and supporting them to achieve optimal functionality.
  • Regularly consult with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately in our EMR system, such as WebPT.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry developments and best practices in physical therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Horizon Flex Therapy, you will work primarily with adults of varying ages and backgrounds, focusing on those with orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation needs, and chronic pain conditions. Your role will require adapting therapies to fit the specific functional requirements and goals of each patient, ensuring that every individual receives customized care that aligns with their physical capabilities and lifestyle aspirations.

Qualifications
  • Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Valid Florida Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions.
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI) number or the ability to obtain one prior to starting your position.
  • Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in therapeutic exercise techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience.
