Now Hiring: Caregiver

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
  • Help with meal preparation, serving, and feeding assistance as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment in resident living areas.
  • Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Experience as caregiver or support staff is a plus.
  • Incorporating Harm Reduction, Informed Trauma Training and De-escalation techniques.
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards individuals from diverse backgrounds, including the underserved population.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine interest in working with seniors.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and required training.
