What will you do? Your day to day success is determined by your ability to:

  • Maintain a safe working environment and promote health and safety awareness.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency before and throughout operation of NC Grinder.
  • Grind parts to specified dimensions.
  • Interpret blueprint drawings for specifications.
  • Clean machine, tooling and part, and may perform minor machine maintenance.
  • Set up and operate NC Grinder.
  • Use hand angle grinder.
  • Plan, prioritize and organize assigned tasks.
  • Communicate quality issues and non-conformances to management promptly.
  • Use various measuring tools to ensure conformity to visual and dimensional specifications.
  • Participate in continuous learning opportunities.
  • Maintain all work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

With Quality in mind, you also bring the following:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience or training in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in operation of grinder lathe.
  • Basic math, geometry, and mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic measurement and print-reading skills.
  • Experience with precision measuring tools.
  • Precision and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and ability to control application tools precisely.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two Year Technical Degree accreditation preferred.
  • Two years of previous work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Passion in delivering accuracy and quality as a priority.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds or more.
  • Prolonged standing and walking.
  • Repetitive movement, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
