Job description

โ€ข Confirm job order procedures and instructions relating to machine operations.
โ€ข Set up and operate CNC Machines and/or production equipment; strictly following instructions, job specifications and blueprints.
โ€ข Read blueprints accurately to properly set up machinery.
โ€ข Operate hand tools as necessary to set up tools in the correct machine.
โ€ข Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions.
โ€ข Identify and stamp parts for traceability.
โ€ข Inspect products per print.
โ€ข Keep machine clean, perform minor maintenance as needed, and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
โ€ข Must be willing to purchase required tools, which must pass certification criteria.
โ€ข Must be able to complete the above tasks under close supervision.
  • Perform entry level CNC machining processes with assistance.
  • Skills to be developed by repeating operations and on the job training.
  • Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and blue prints.
