Product Data Specialist

Are you a highly organized, analytical, and customer-focused data professional? Do you enjoy solving data challenges, building relationships, and helping customers succeed? We're seeking a Product Data Specialist who thrives on improving data quality, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring products are accurately represented across multiple digital platforms.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Product Data Specialist is responsible for supporting and improving the quality, accuracy, and presentation of Superior Glove product data across distributor systems, websites, PIMs, and ERP platforms. This role combines technical data management expertise with customer-facing relationship management to ensure Superior Glove products are represented accurately and consistently to support sales growth and an exceptional customer experience.

Honduras Office: Based in Bufalo, Honduras but reporting to our head office in Canada, this role is currently available as remote work with some in-office training.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for distributor product data, content, and image requests.
  • Build strong relationships with distributor data, eCommerce, and marketing teams through proactive communication and regular meetings.
  • Audit distributor websites to ensure product information, specifications, attributes, and images are accurate, current, and complete.
  • Coordinate and support distributor data cleanup initiatives to improve product content quality and online presentation.
  • Extract, manipulate, validate, and prepare product data using NetSuite Analytics and advanced Excel tools.
  • Complete distributor data templates and support product data synchronization activities.
  • Create and maintain product master data reports, including product descriptions, dimensions, attributes, certifications, and image links.
  • Identify data inconsistencies and recommend improvements to processes, standards, and data quality.
  • Support internal data governance initiatives and perform audits to ensure data accuracy within NetSuite and external systems.
  • Track distributor requests and project activities using Asana and team workflows.
  • Provide operational support to the Data Governance team during periods of high workload and team absences.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, IT, Customer Experience, and Data Governance teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; preferred focus in Information Science, Data Management, Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data manipulation, lookups, filtering, formatting, and spreadsheet management.
  • Experience using NetSuite Analytics to create and manage reports.
  • Strong understanding of product data structures, attributes, and data quality standards.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer-facing data, analytics, product information, or account support role.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, IT, or Customer-facing teams.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Word.
  • Experience with distributor portals, PIM systems, eCommerce product data, SQL, Power Query, or AI tools such as ChatGPT is considered an asset.
  • Manufacturing industry experience is considered an asset.
