Job description

Hausa Remote Interpreter role at Certified Languages International Telephonic Interpreters Wanted (Work From Home)Please apply if you meet our requirements. Overview CLI stands at the forefront of interpreting services. Since 1996, CLI serves thousands of organizations, helping them communicate with LEP speakers.

This position is 100% over-the-phone interpretation and is freelance/contract work from home. Responsibilities Provide over-the-phone interpretation for various industries (medical, insurance, financial, utilities, customer service, state courts, etc.). Log on/off using CLI's online portal or a landline telephone to access interpreting sessions.

Maintain professional interpretation standards for assigned calls and ensure accuracy and confidentiality. Qualifications Must meet all requirements to work in the United States legally (SSN or EIN & Photo ID required). Residency in the United States.

Interpreting experience is preferred. Fluency in Hausa and remote interpretation capabilities. Employment Type & Compensation Contract (freelance) and work from home.

Payment on a per-minute basis for minutes spent on the phone interpreting; payments issued twice a month via direct deposit. High call volume, including 24/7 availability expectations based on client needs. Location & Availability United States-based candidates only; currently recruiting excludes New York and California.
