Job description

Maintenance Technician
Location: Fort Wayne, IN
Pay: $35.00/hr while training and increasing to $36.25/hr on nights (paid weekly)
Shift: Nights, 2-2-3 schedule (5:45pm-6:15am). Overtime may be required.
Benefits Start: Day 1

Job Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, including conveyors and robotics
  • Work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Diagnose and repair issues with PLCs, VFDs, and high-voltage circuits
  • Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
  • Read and interpret schematics, manuals, and work orders
  • Operate shop tools as needed (lathe, milling machine, drill press, grinder, saws, etc.)
  • Follow all safety standards, including LOTO and PPE requirements

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong mechanical and electrical repair knowledge
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and high-voltage systems
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Must be able to wear required PPE

Since 1999, our Fort Wayne, Indiana Distribution Center has charged, packaged, and shipped batteries for cars, boats, motorcycles, and heavy-duty trucks worldwide. With over 130 employees, this site plays a key role in distributing Clarios products across North America.
