What is a Homecare Homebase?

A Homecare Homebase job typically involves working with the Homecare Homebase (HCHB) software, which is widely used in the home health and hospice industry. These roles can include IT support, software training, implementation, or administrative positions that help agencies manage patient care, scheduling, documentation, and compliance. Employees in these roles ensure that healthcare providers can efficiently use HCHB to improve patient outcomes and streamline operations.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working with Homecare Homebase software in home health agencies?

Professionals using Homecare Homebase often encounter challenges such as adapting to frequent software updates, ensuring accurate and timely patient documentation, and integrating workflows across clinical and administrative teams. Staying current with evolving regulatory requirements and maintaining data security can add to the complexity of the role. However, most agencies provide ongoing training, accessible support resources, and collaborative team environments to help staff overcome these obstacles. Developing strong troubleshooting skills and maintaining open communication with colleagues can make these challenges more manageable and support successful patient care delivery.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in Homecare Homebase?

To excel in a Homecare Homebase role, candidates need a strong understanding of healthcare operations, experience with home health or hospice agencies, and proficiency in data management. Familiarity with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) software and knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems is typically required, often with additional training or certifications in HCHB highly valued. Outstanding problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clinical staff distinguish top performers in this position. These competencies are vital for ensuring efficient patient care coordination, regulatory compliance, and seamless workflow management in home health settings.

We are seeking a Senior Manager to help scale and optimize how our 30-person Product Management team operates. You'll design and run the systems, processes, and tools that help our product teams deliver impactful software efficiently - enabling clarity, consistency, and data-driven decision-making.

Your mission will be to champion continuous improvement and a culture of transparency and impact. You will ensure that every product manager, designer, and engineer can move faster with confidence and alignment.

You will report to the Sr. Director of Product Operations and help implement and improve the product operating model, portfolio governance, and tooling across the teams.

  • Ensure smooth communication, visibility, and accountability across all stakeholders.
  • Drive onboarding, training, and change management for new tools and processes.

  • Define scalable processes and best practices and drive continuous improvement in product operations. Troubleshoot product-related process bottlenecks across the company.
  • Help facilitate adoption of new AI solutions to drive scale in Product and in Product's partnership with other teams.
Success Metrics:
  • Improved satisfaction among business, product, and engineering stakeholders
  • Measurable improvement in portfolio alignment to business outcomes and product-enabled velocity in releasing new features and products
  • Consistent use and adoption of product ops frameworks and tools
  • Reduction in product planning and release cycle time

What You Will Bring:

Qualifications

  • 5 years of progressive experience in product management, product operations, strategy consulting, or technical program management in medium-to-large software product organizations with 5+ product teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in completing successful product operations modernization initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills and the proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior executives.
  • Proficiency with modern product tools and the willingness to critically examine new ones.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in health tech.
