Homecare Homebase Systems Analyst
Salary:$80,000 to $100,000

What You Need to Know
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist with configuration and customization of Home Health & Hospice EMR applications working with internal application specialist resources and independent consultants.
  • Participate in release management activities including, but not limited to, making recommendations on prioritizing new functionality to be implemented, application upgrades and revision process.
  • Participate as a Tier 3 resource in solving Help Desk complex issues/requests.
  • Participate in the review of new functionality of Home Health & Hospice

QUALIFICATIONS
• Proficient understanding of home health /managed care and related technology market and products
EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION:
• 3+ years supporting EHR/EMR solutions in the Home Health and Hospice industry
• A strong understanding of clinical, field and back-office processes required
• A strong understanding of Medicare, HMO, Commercial Insurance billing and A/R Practices a strong plus
• Experience implementing EMR/EHR solutions, configuration, training, and rollout required
• Experience implementing and supporting EMR/EHR Point of Care (POC) solutions a strong plus
• A proven history with solving complex EMR/EHR data and user-related issues required
• A proven history documenting, designing, and implementing EMR/EHR system-associated process changes required
• Must have a track record of managing multiple priorities simultaneously, and meeting reporting deadlines
• Consultation experience with mid-level managers and/or executives
• Bachelor's degree preferred
TRAINING and CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Highly proficient in the use and support of HCHB solution, including clinical, billing, and analytics
• Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant software programs.
• Proficient knowledge and use of simple reporting tools.
• Employ advanced root cause and impact analysis.
• Able to work collaboratively and cooperatively as a team member, fostering an atmosphere of trust and respect
• Must be flexible and a proponent of change.
