Home Depot Pro National Account Manager
Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

PrimeSource Building Products, Inc., one of the nation's largest wholesale distributors of building supply products, is seeking aPro National Account Managerto work with our Home Depot Account. Individual should possess strong experience and knowledge of building materials as they will be the driving force to help the company reach targeted Pro growth goals.

Status: Exempt

Position Type: Full-time

Hours: 40-45 hrs.

Schedule: M-F

Reports to: Larry Nelson (VP of Home Depot Sales)

Responsibilities of the Pro National Account Manager of Home Depot will include the following. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

  • Manage and grow the Pro Business with our largest customer across our world class brands and products.
  • Interview, hire and lead the Pro Account Specialist roles in Atlanta and Dallas with future positions based on growth.
  • Key Point of contact with Home Depot Pro Leadership Team in Atlanta and the field.
  • Lead the creation of selling aides / materials to assist Home Depot Outside Sales Reps (OSR's) to drive attachment sales.
  • Establish and maintain existing working relationships with Merchants, E-comm Merchants and other KDM's.
  • Actively sell Pro products in our core and identify new and expanded products for quote center and FDCs.
  • Quarterback regional and other Pro specific events with THD.
  • Partner with sales leaders across Home Depot and sister companies to ensure program alignment.
  • Develop & execute strategies and activities to stimulate sales by working closely with Channel Management and Marketing.
  • Work with SIOP and sales leaders to develop accurate demand planning for Home Depot's Pro initiatives.
  • Work with Sales Support team to coordinate all appropriate support for the customer and Pro end user.
  • Ensure Merchandising Team understands activities and continues Pro support expectations in store.
  • Monitor and review all sales reports on a regular basis to meet and exceed all sales and profit budgets.
  • Communicates with DC Management and sales personnel and provides analysis of current market conditions and sales growth opportunities for their market.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Leadership experience and National Account management required.
  • Fastener and Building Materials product knowledge and experience a huge plus!
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word Processing software.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be willing and able to live in Atlanta, GA
  • Goal oriented and self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, graphing and statistics.
  • Must have a have a valid license, current insurance, and acceptable driving record.
