Job description

RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION MANAGER / HOME BUILDER

Build Homes. Build Teams. Build a Company.

Growing Real Estate Investment & Development Company

IMPORTANT

· You must have significant residential home-building experience.

· Government, municipal, commercial, highway, infrastructure, and public works experience alone will NOT be considered.

· All projects must have been completed in the United States.

WHO WE ARE

·We are a rapidly growing real estate investment and development company specializing in fix-and-flip projects, and new home construction. We are actively expanding throughout New Jersey and have plans to grow into multiple states across the country.

· We are not looking for someone to simply manage projects. We are looking for a builder, leader, mentor, problem solver, and future executive who wants to help build a company.

· If your primary goal is to work 40 hours per week, collect a paycheck, and go home, this is not the right opportunity.

· If you thrive under pressure, enjoy solving difficult problems, take pride in building quality homes, and want to help create something substantial, we want to speak with you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manage residential renovation and new construction projects from acquisition through completion

· Lead, mentor, and develop field crews and subcontractors

· Build and expand a high-performing construction team

· Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget

· Inspect workmanship and maintain high-quality standards

· Identify and correct construction deficiencies before they become costly problems

· Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and municipal requirements

· Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and scopes of work

· Manage project budgets, job costing, and overall profitability

· Track labor productivity and hold teams accountable for results

· Develop systems that improve efficiency and scalability

· Maintain safe and professional job sites

· Communicate effectively with ownership regarding project status, risks, and opportunities

· Resolve problems quickly and decisively in the field

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Extensive residential home-building experience

· Proven success managing residential construction projects

· Proven experience as a foreman or construction manager leading both subcontractors and in-house crews

· Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and building practices

· Ability to identify improper workmanship and direct corrective action

· Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

· Strong understanding of construction sequencing and scheduling

· Strong budgeting, job-costing, and profit-and-loss management experience

· Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and scopes of work

· Strong leadership and communication skills

· Highly organized and detail-oriented

· Must possess a mechanically reliable vehicle

· Must pass a background check

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

· Takes ownership of problems and solves them

· Holds themselves and others accountable

· Leads by example

· Is willing to work hard when necessary to meet company goals

· Thinks like an owner, not an employee

· Wants to help build a company that can grow nationally

· Has a track record of producing results

· Is motivated by achievement, growth, and opportunity

COMPENSATION & CAREER GROWTH

· Competitive compensation

· Performance-based bonuses

· Leadership advancement opportunities

· Increased responsibility as the company grows

· Potential future equity and stock option participation

· The opportunity to help build a national organization

Company Description

We are a fast paced real estate investment firm with a construction division that is looking to expand nationally.
