Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in their homes to assess their physical condition, mobility, and overall functional capabilities.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise regimens, manual therapy, and the use of assistive devices.
• Closely monitor patient progress, documenting treatments and outcomes meticulously to ensure alignment with established therapeutic goals.
• Continuously assess and revise treatment plans based on patients’ evolving needs and progress, ensuring the best possible rehabilitation outcomes.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on the use of assistive devices, home exercises, and generally recommended lifestyle changes that facilitate better recovery.
• Maintain up-to-date professional knowledge through attending workshops, reviewing relevant literature, and participating in professional associations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients range from children to elderly adults, each presenting unique challenges and diagnoses, including post-operative recovery, chronic pain management, and rehabilitation following injuries. This diverse demographic requires the Physical Therapist to be adaptable and attentive to varying levels of mobility and therapeutic needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• Exceptional skills in verbal and written communication to effectively liaise with patients and their families.
• Proficient in computer skills, including documentation software and telehealth platforms.
• A strong commitment to ongoing education and self-improvement in clinical practices.
• Ability to perform as a highly flexible professional, adapting to various patient scenarios as needed.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience working in home health or community settings is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation technology and equipment utilized within patient therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
