Job Summary:
PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst to lead data discovery and requirements for new data ingestions. The role involves conducting in-depth analysis, developing data dictionaries, and performing data testing and validation while collaborating with business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Lead data discovery and requirements of new data ingestions, conduct in depth analysis for source to target mapping, develop data dictionaries, and perform data testing and validation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document data requirements and reporting needs.
• Partners and works effectively with business SMEs and facilitate conversations efficiently
• Manages efforts effectively with the ability to pro-actively seek prioritization of work
• Works independently to lead and manage workstreams with minimal supervision
• Gathers and documents data requirements and reporting needs.
• Communicates effectively through various channels (meetings, chat, email, in-person)
• Works effectively with business SMEs and facilitates conversations efficiently
• Manages their time effectively with the ability to proactively seek prioritization of work
• Initiates and facilitates conversations based on needs and next steps to meet deliverables
Qualifications:
Required:
• Lead data discovery and requirements of new data ingestions, conduct in depth analysis for source to target mapping, develop data dictionaries, and perform data testing and validation.

• SQL advanced knowledge.
• Advanced data profiling and data analysis (data quality, data reconciliation, data distribution).
• Advanced business requirements gathering and documentation with the ability to work with the technical team to translate business requirements to technical requirements.
• Advanced testing data validation, test execution, regression testing.
• SQL Server Data Management Studios (navigation, read/write/execute queries).
• SQL Server Reporting Services (navigate reports as read-only).
• Microsoft PowerBI (navigate and filter reports as read only).
• Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office Suite of Tools.
• Minimum 8 years of data analysis, requirements definition, and data warehouse build experience.
• Minimum 8 years hands on working experience with intermediate to advanced level SQL.
• Minimum 5 years of working knowledge of basic PowerBI and SSRS reporting tools.
• Minimum 8 years experience performing data validation and testing.
• Minimum 5 years of leading teams to perform data research, analysis, and validation.
Preferred:
• Knowledge of Mortgage Industry, Single Family and Multi-Family
