TOTE Group of Companies Internship Development Program / Coop Description:

โ€ฏAs a Puerto Rico Terminals intern, you will participate in a paid internship program working on meaningful assignments that have a real impact on our business nationwide. โ€ฏThe TOTE Group of companies offers you an opportunity to work in a variety of fields based on your degree type. โ€ฏInternships are generally 10-weeks in length but can be shorter or longer in duration for co-op specific programs.

โ€ฏTOTEโ€™s company structure offers you an opportunity for a variety of potential work experiences that are aligned to a variety of functional areas, including those listed below. โ€ฏInterns will be placed in assignments based on business needs and skill set.

At Puerto Rico Terminals, we strongly consider highly performing interns as candidates for the TOTE Group Development Program (TDP) after they graduate. โ€ฏTDP is a rotational program with rotations carried out in a variety of functional areas within the business. โ€ฏThe goal of the program is to develop TOTE Groupโ€™s future leaders, provide exposure across the business on a national scale, and forums for skill and professional development. โ€ฏIf you are interested and want more information, please contactโ€ฏrecruiting@totersources.com

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in: ChemicalEngineering,Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering,Business Analytics and/or Sales and Marketing (other related majors will be considered)
  • Familiar with Safety regulations, hazardousmaterialsand equipment maintenance
  • Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e., extracurricular activities or projects)
  • Prior work experience (including prior internship or volunteer work)
  • Mobility is a key requirement as a pipeline internship to our TOTE Development Program

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and carry out tasks with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to changes in timelines and manage ambiguityโ€ฏ
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
  • Pass a drug screen and background investigation
