(Puerto Rico, Puerto Rico
US D
75000-85000
Job Description

Step into a legal role where your judgment is the gatekeeper -not your calendar filled with filings, court dates, and endless litigation cycles.

A nationally recognized, fast-growing plaintiff-side law firm is seeking1-2 Intake Attorneysto join its expanding personal injury intake function. This is a highly focused role designed for attorneys who excel atsharp legal analysis, rapid case evaluation, and decisive thinking.

You won't be managing cases end-to-end. You won't be in litigation.
Instead, you'll sit at the critical front line where cases are shaped, filtered, and greenlit.

What This Role Is All About

As an Intake Attorney, you will review incoming personal injury matters and determine their legal viability with precision and confidence. You'll work closely with intake specialists and partner firms to assess claims quickly and accurately-helping ensure only strong, well-supported cases move forward.

This is a role built forlegal thinkers who thrive on analysis, not litigation volume.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review incoming personal injury cases for merit and viability
  • Analyze liability, causation, damages, and evidentiary strength
  • Provide clear, defensible recommendations on case acceptance
  • Collaborate with intake teams and external personal injury firms
  • Maintain organized, timely documentation and review workflows
  • Support consistent decision-making standards across intake processes
  • Report directly to the Intake Manager
QualificationsWhat We're Looking For
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction or Puerto Rico
  • Prior experience in personal injury law strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical reasoning and issue-spotting ability
  • Confident decision-making under time-sensitive conditions
  • Comfortable in ahigh-volume, fast-paced intake environment
  • Clear communicator with excellent legal judgment

Why is This a Great OpportunityWhy This Role Stands Out
  • Focus exclusively oncase evaluation (no litigation, no case management)
  • Exposure to diverse personal injury matters across multiple firms
  • Fully remote structure with Puerto Rico-based flexibility requirements
  • Opportunity to contribute to a modern, high-efficiency intake model
  • Collaborative, structured, and process-driven legal environment
  • Clear potential for long-term growth as operations expand locally

This is a rare chance to practice law in its most distilled form:judgment at the front door.

The firm is nationally established and continues to scale its plaintiff-side operations with a strong emphasis on efficiency, accuracy, and legal excellence. Intake attorneys play a central role in shaping case quality and driving strategic case flow across partner firms.
