Job description

Logistics Billing Clerk LHH Recruitment is partnering with a transportation based company in Phoenix who is in search of a billing clerk to join their team. This role is fully onsite, Monday-Friday. The hourly rate is up to $24/hr.
This position is ideal for someone with strong administrative and billing experience who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and enjoys working with both logistics documentation and accounting support functions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Access and review customer and shipment files within the CRM system, including bills of lading, weight tickets, estimates, inventories, and related documentation
  • Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing storage shipments and maintain organized account records
  • Establish and maintain storage accounts, including insurance documentation, valuation details, invoicing, and billing setup
  • Process billing for a variety of services including office, industrial, local, intrastate, and third-party accounts
  • Audit and verify third-party invoices to ensure accuracy and proper billing procedures
  • Calculate, enter, and maintain revenue information within accounting systems
  • Generate and review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards
  • Prepare credit memorandums and billing adjustments when necessary
  • Post financial transactions to the appropriate customer and job accounts within accounting software
  • Assist with payroll processing and related administrative support duties
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in billing, logistics coordination, accounting support, or administrative operations required
  • Experience within the logistics, transportation, moving, warehouse, or storage industries highly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and invoicing
  • Experience with Sage or Great Plains is strongly preferred!
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Payroll support experience is a plus

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
