Position: Insurance Coverage AttorneyLocation: Bloomfield Hills, MIPlunkett Cooney is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join the firm. The Insurance Coverage Practice Group consults with and represents insurance carriers with respect to coverage analysis and opinions and coverage/bad faith litigation. This is not a PIP litigation position, nor does it involve retention by insurers to represent insureds in litigation.The preferred candidate will be an experienced and versatile attorney, who has demonstrated the ability to analyze and resolve complex legal issues.Preferred candidates should have:Five or more years of experience in the areas of insurance coverage or other complex litigationExperience in all aspects of civil litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, taking depositions, and arguing motionsExcellent client serviceExcellent research, legal brief writing and communication skills are requiredStrong analytical, research, writing, communication, and interpersonal skillsWorking knowledge of Federal Rules of Civil ProcedureComfort level with learning new computer softwareA J.D. from an ABA-approved law schoolGood standing in and an active member of the State Bar of MichiganWe are seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated attorney, who has demonstrated an ability to compete and prosper in highly competitive and complex environments, with significant client contact.
