Pay: $130,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year

Location

El Dorado Hills, California โ€” a flexible hybrid role with a preference for in-office collaboration several days per week, while still allowing work-from-home balance.

Note

Candidates must hold an active California Bar license and have at least 1 year of civil litigation experience to be considered.

Job Description

  • Manage and assist with all phases of civil litigation from case intake through resolution
  • Draft and respond to written discovery and conduct legal research
  • Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations
  • Draft, argue, and respond to motions, including dispositive motions
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams on case strategy and evaluation
  • Participate in trials and assist with appellate briefing and arguments as needed
  • Meet an annual billable hour expectation of approximately 1750 hours

Qualifications

  • Active California State Bar license with no exceptions
  • 1+ year of civil litigation experience
  • Strong legal research and brief-writing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Experience arguing motions, trial work, or appellate matters is a plus
