Holiday Wholesale is seeking a reliable and dedicated Route Driver in the Oconomowoc, Hartland, or Jefferson area to join our dynamic team! The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the timely transportation and delivery of goods to our valued customers. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for adhering to assigned delivery schedules and routes while maintaining the highest level of safety and customer service. Your role will involve loading and unloading goods, following traffic regulations, and ensuring that vehicles are well-maintained and in good working order. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working independently, are physically fit, and possess a strong work ethic. You will also have the chance to develop relationships with our clients and contribute to the organization’s reputation for excellent service. We are looking for someone who can effectively manage time, stay organized under pressure, and adapt to changing environments. Your contribution as a Route Driver is crucial to our success, and you will have the chance to grow within the company while making a positive impact in the community. Join us in making a difference and ensuring our products reach their destinations safely and efficiently. Route Drivers work Tuesday thru Friday, 10 to 12 hour days.

Responsibilities

  • Drive assigned routes in a safe and timely manner ensuring delivery schedules are met.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring that they are secured and protected during transit.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures, invoices, and receipts for goods delivered.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships and addressing any delivery-related concerns or questions.
  • Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents to management immediately for prompt resolution.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to maintain a safe driving record and ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a route driver or in a similar position.
  • Ability to operate a straight box truck.
  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to follow a schedule.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy packages and move items as needed during deliveries.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

*To recieve the attendance bonus, all scheduled shifts must be worked in a pay period.
