## Job DescriptionReporting to the Senior Vice President of Strategic Philanthropy (SVP) at the Hoag Hospital Foundation (HHF), the Executive Director of Campaigns (ED) is responsible for leading the planning and execution of major philanthropic campaigns, including the upcoming comprehensive campaign. In partnership with senior HHF leadership, the ED will collaborate across the foundation and hospital to establish campaign priorities, strategies, policies, timelines, and operations. This role ensures alignment across all aspects of each campaign, refining goals and approaches as needed to achieve ambitious philanthropic objectives.## ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include oversight of all campaign-related activities from planning through the public phase and post-campaign assessment and stewardship.The Executive Director will:* Oversee feasibility studies and translate findings into actionable plans* Partner with clinical and hospital leadership to identify and articulate campaign priorities* Develop timelines, case statements, naming opportunities, budgets, volunteer structures, branding, and messaging* Create and manage day-to-day implementation of the campaign workplan* Convene and engage HHF staff to ensure alignment with campaign goals* Provide training to HHF staff, hospital and clinical partners, and board members as appropriate about campaigns* Monitor, track, and report on campaign progress and outcomes* Facilitate the transition from one campaign phase to the next* Serve as the liaison and provide oversight to any external campaign consultants* Partner with colleagues across HHF to provide relevant donor engagement opportunities, execute campaign messaging, report on milestones and impacts, and create meaningful recognition touchpoints and eventsThis role requires a strategic, collaborative leader who can inspire cross-organizational engagement, ensure disciplined execution, and steward a transformative campaign effort for Hoag.## Qualifications**Education and Experience*** Bachelor’s degree required.* Expertise and depth of understanding of best practices and trends in comprehensive and capital campaigns* Seven to ten years of progressively responsible experience in philanthropic setting (development/advancement/foundation), with a minimum of five years of campaign-related experience, preferably in higher education or healthcare.* The ability to adapt to and lead through changing circumstances in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.* A creative approach to problem-solving coupled with strong critical-thinking and analytical skills.* Strong communication and organizational skills.* Proficiency in MS Office and experience in Salesforce or equivalent CRM/database required.Jobs at a location #J-18808-Ljbffr
