Position Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized HOA Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of homeowner's associations managed by our property management company. This role serves as the primary point of contact for HOA boards, homeowners, vendors, and internal team members.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-service focused, and comfortable managing community operations, board communications, compliance matters, vendor coordination, and financial oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main liaison between HOA boards, homeowners, vendors, and the property management company.
- Coordinate and attend board meetings, annual meetings, and special meetings as needed.
- Prepare meeting agendas, board packets, reports, and follow-up action items.
- Enforce HOA governing documents, community rules, architectural guidelines, and policies.
- Respond to homeowner inquiries, complaints, maintenance requests, and compliance concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct property inspections and document violations, maintenance needs, and community concerns.
- Coordinate vendor bids, contracts, work orders, scheduling, and project completion.
- Assist with budget preparation, financial review, invoice approvals, and reserve planning.
- Work with accounting teams to monitor assessments, delinquencies, payables, and financial reports.
- Support architectural review processes and ensure homeowner applications are handled according to HOA procedures.
- Maintain accurate community records, correspondence, meeting minutes, contracts, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure communities remain in compliance with applicable state laws, local regulations, and HOA governing documents.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism in challenging situations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in HOA management, property management, real estate, customer service, or administrative operations preferred.
- Knowledge of HOA governing documents, community association operations, or property management practices is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple communities, deadlines, and priorities.
- Professional demeanor and strong conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and property management software.
- Ability to attend occasional evening board meetings.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
- CMCA, AMS, or PCAM designation preferred but not required.
- Experience working directly with HOA boards.
- Familiarity with vendor management, budgets, financial reports, and maintenance coordination.
- Knowledge of state-specific HOA laws and regulations.

- Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities.
- Proficiency with basic accounting software.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills when supporting internal staff and interacting with homeowners.

Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
Pay Range: $18-22/hr.

Work Environment
