The Food Nutrition Program Manager contributes to AHF by supporting the day-to-day operations of South Side Help Centers' Food Bank and Home Delivered Meals Program. This role will ensure people living with HIV/AIDS have access to nutritious, medically appropriate food as an integral part of their care plan. The Food Nutrition Program Manager will oversee daily program operations by supervising staff, coordinating with vendors and community partners, managing food ordering and inventory, and ensuring efficient food bank operations. They will also collaborate with the program team to develop and implement client intake and nutrition protocols, enforce Ryan White Services eligibility verification guidelines, and monitor program outcomes and reporting requirements. They will work closely wit the licensed dietician to assist clients with SmartChoice food selections, prepare food orders for pick-up or home delivery, coordinate timely and respectful meal deliveries, and provide individual and group nutrition education sessions. This position will ensure timely service delivery, accurate data entry, and compliance with program standards and licensed nutrition professional guidelines, enabling the program to achieve performance objectives and contractual deliverables.
The Food Nutrition Program Manager enhances the reputation of AHF by delivering high-quality, client-focused food assistance with compassion and care. Their role in providing home deliveries to clients living with HIV/AIDS not only promotes food access but also supports client retention in care and improved health outcomes. Their close attention to detail, timeliness, and commitment to grant compliance reinforces our reputation as a leading provider of integrated health and support services.
