Position Overview

Frozen Ropes is seeking a passionate and energetic Softball Coach & Instructor to work with players of various ages and skill levels in a player-development focused environment.
This role offers a unique opportunity to combine team coaching, private instruction, clinics, camps, and player development programming within one of the region's premier baseball and softball training organizations.
We are looking for coaches who are passionate about teaching the game, building confidence in young athletes, and creating a positive learning environment.
What You'll Do

  • ย Coach and support Frozen Ropes travel softball teamsย 
  • ย Provide private and small-group instructionย 
  • ย Lead clinics, camps, and player development programsย 
  • ย Teach hitting, fielding, throwing, game awareness, and softball fundamentalsย 
  • ย Help athletes improve their confidence, work ethic, and overall softball IQย 
  • ย Create a positive, energetic, and structured training environment
What We're Looking For

  • ย Softball playing and/or coaching experienceย 
  • ย Strong understanding of softball fundamentals and game strategyย 
  • ย Ability to communicate effectively with athletes and familiesย 
  • ย Positive attitude, reliability, and strong leadership skillsย 
  • ย Passion for player development and teaching the gameย 
Preferred Qualifications

  • ย High school softball playing experience (minimum preferred)ย 
  • ย Travel softball, collegiate playing, or coaching experience is a plusย 
  • Softball pitching experience is highly desirable and considered a strong plus
