Job description

Position Overview

Frozen Ropes is seeking a passionate and energetic Softball Coach & Instructor to work with players of various ages and skill levels in a player-development focused environment.
This role offers a unique opportunity to combine team coaching, private instruction, clinics, camps, and player development programming within one of the region's premier baseball and softball training organizations.
We are looking for coaches who are passionate about teaching the game, building confidence in young athletes, and creating a positive learning environment.
What You'll Do

  •  Coach and support Frozen Ropes travel softball teams 
  •  Provide private and small-group instruction 
  •  Lead clinics, camps, and player development programs 
  •  Teach hitting, fielding, throwing, game awareness, and softball fundamentals 
  •  Help athletes improve their confidence, work ethic, and overall softball IQ 
  •  Create a positive, energetic, and structured training environment
What We're Looking For

  •  Softball playing and/or coaching experience 
  •  Strong understanding of softball fundamentals and game strategy 
  •  Ability to communicate effectively with athletes and families 
  •  Positive attitude, reliability, and strong leadership skills 
  •  Passion for player development and teaching the game 
Preferred Qualifications

  •  High school softball playing experience (minimum preferred) 
  •  Travel softball, collegiate playing, or coaching experience is a plus 
  • Softball pitching experience is highly desirable and considered a strong plus
