JOB SUMMARY
Provides safe guard street crossing in school zones for students.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists and safe-guards students at a specific location while crossing the street. Collaborates with school administrators, staff, parents, and students regarding students/safety issues.
  • Maintains assigned safety equipment and crossing guards.
  • Provides written and/or oral reports regarding school crossing to the area supervisor.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES CONTINUED
  • Adheres to safety guidelines and policies.
  • May place caution signs at designated points before going on duty and removes signs at the end of shift.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
