Job Description
The OSUMC Assistant Safety Officer has responsibility for ensuring a safe environment for the facility, patients, staff and visitors. This position reports to the Manager of Hospital Logistics / Safety Officer and is responsible for various aspects of safety and life safety, which may include but is not limited to: assisting in the development and implementation of safety programs and policies, maintaining and updating safety documentation and records, performing safety inspections and hazard assessments, conducting drills and safety training sessions for staff, and investigating and reporting safety incidents and violations.
Qualifications
Education: High School or GED
License / Certification: CHSP, CHEM BDLS, ADLS
Experience: More than 5 years
