A Hiring Summer is typically a temporary position responsible for assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees during the busy summer hiring period. They may help post job openings, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and support other HR tasks. This role is often found in organizations with seasonal hiring needs, such as camps, retail stores, or hospitality businesses. The position provides valuable experience in human resources and recruitment processes.

What are some common challenges hiring managers face when recruiting for summer positions?

Hiring managers often encounter challenges such as high application volumes, tight timelines, and ensuring candidates are available for the full duration of the summer term.
