Job description

Nurse Practitioner - Virtual Clinical Care

Hims & Hers Canada is recruiting licensed Nurse Practitioners in Canada to provide virtual clinical care to patients seeking treatment for conditions such as erectile dysfunction and weight management, with additional service lines anticipated as the platform expands.

This role exists to ensure patients receive timely, evidence-based, and patient-centered care through Hims & Hers Canada's virtual care platform, while maintaining high clinical standards and adapting to increasing patient demand.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide virtual clinical care to patients located in Canada via Hims & Hers Canada's telehealth platform
  • Review patient-submitted health information and conduct asynchronous and/or synchronous consultations as appropriate
  • Prescribe treatments in accordance with applicable provincial regulations, clinical guidelines, and Hims & Hers Canada-supported protocols
  • Document all clinical interactions accurately and completely in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director on clinical questions, guideline interpretation, and escalations when needed
  • Exercise independent clinical judgment while practicing within established standards of care

Requirements:

  • Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Canada
  • Experience treating conditions such as erectile dysfunction or obesity/weight management
  • Authorization to provide telehealth services and prescribe medications within your province(s) of licensure
  • Prior experience delivering care via telehealth or virtual care platforms
  • Ability to independently review clinical guidelines, navigate an EMR, and manage patient care both synchronously and asynchronously with minimal onboarding support
  • Reliable access to secure internet and a private workspace suitable for virtual care
  • Contractors are responsible for maintaining their own professional liability insurance, licensure, and continuing education requirements
  • Multi-provincial licensure preferred
  • Familiarity with asynchronous care models preferred
  • Comfort working in a high-volume virtual care environment

Work Structure:

  • This is an independent contractor role
  • Clinical Providers work whenever they want within the Hims & Hers Canada platform, subject to patient demand
  • Compensation is provided on a per-encounter basis
