Job description

THE FOLLOWING POSITION IS AVAILABLE FOR THE 2026-2027ย SCHOOL YEAR.
HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL JVย HEAD COACH
The Fox Chapel Area School District is seeking a softball head coach for the 2026-2027ย season.ย 
Applicants must be committed to fostering a positive and inclusive team environment with a focus on developing all high school softball players.
Applicants must have strong knowledge of the sport, proven leadership/communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of the rules and fundamentals of softball, as well as the knowledge of the fitness program necessary to develop athletes who play softball.ย ย It is strongly preferred that applicants have previous varsity high school head coaching experience and/or college coaching experience with a proven record of success both onย and offย the field.ย Also preferred is knowledge of the college recruiting process, and the knowledge and experience to connect to coaches at the college/university level.ย
