Softball Head Coach - 10U/12U Travel Program

Compensation: $3,000 seasonal stipend + $25/hour for winter training

About the Opportunity
DYBA is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Head Softball Coach to lead either a 10U or 12U travel softball team for the upcoming season. This is an excellent opportunity for a coach who is passionate about player development, creating a positive team culture, and helping young athletes build confidence and a love for the game.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, organized leader, and positive role model who values both athletic and personal growth.
Schedule
In-Season: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays
Winter Training: Additional coaching opportunities at $25/hour
Responsibilities
Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate practices focused on skill development.
Coach games while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and a competitive mindset.
Teach softball fundamentals, game strategy, and player development.
Foster a positive, encouraging environment where athletes can build confidence and improve.
Communicate professionally with players, families, and program leadership.
Help create a fun, organized, and rewarding experience for every athlete.
Qualifications
Previous softball playing and/or coaching experience preferred.
Experience working with youth athletes is a plus.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Passion for developing young athletes both on and off the field.
Reliable, energetic, and committed throughout the season.
