Job description

The Brickell High-Rise Maintenance Technician performs a variety of maintenance tasks and ensures the satisfaction of residents. The Brickell High-Rise Maintenance Technicianis responsible for maintaining and improving the overall appearance and functionality of the community's common areas and facilities.
Job Duties
  • Experience with high-traffic, short-term occupants in a luxury hotel environment a plus
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and appliances in common areas and facilities.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the community's grounds, facilities, and equipment to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
  • Coordinate and oversee vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and projects, ensuring work is completed to specifications and within budget.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and ensure timely resolution of issues to maintain high resident satisfaction.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure efficient operation and prolong their lifespan.
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas, including landscaping, sidewalks, parking areas, and recreational facilities.
  • Assist in the set-up and takedown of community events and activities as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks and order replacements as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while performing maintenance activities.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including maintenance logs, work orders, and inspections.
  • Perform any additional duties within the scope of Brickell High-Rise Maintenance Technician and as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician, handyman, or similar role, preferably in a residential or community setting.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and team members.
