Job Description

To create, implement, and assess company-wide solutions focused on succession planning to ensure the continuity and success of our talent. Identify and manage tools to develop high potential employees while addressing any skill gaps or development opportunities to ensure the entire organization has the right people in the right roles. In addition to developing strategies to increase employee engagement to enhance the overall employee experience for retention.

Essential Functions

  • Identify key roles and potential successors while developing assessment methods to evaluate skills and competencies

  • Prepare potential successors for key positions within the organization to ensure a smooth transition during leadership change

  • Collaborate with management to establish performance goals and feedback

  • Identify factors that contribute to employee engagement and retention

  • Work closely with HR Business Partners and other departments to implement talent management initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations

  • Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency

  • Work as part of a team

  • Work with on-site equipment

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business or management preferred

  • 6-8 years of business solutions or leadership development experience preferred

This position will be performed onsite Monday - Thursday. Remote work on Fridays is available.
