Job description

Description
1. Achieves assigned goals and objectives.
2. Open and close the store as needed when scheduled by leadership.
3. Using discretion, perform authorizations on discounted merchandise within the discount guidelines.
4. Escalate customer service or team member situations to leadership when they arise, on the day they arise.
5. Maintain grand opening showroom standards at all times.
6. As assigned or required, leads other office support positions (Office Support Team) to ensure the customer's expectations are met or exceeded.
7. Teams with the Home Furnishings Consultant (HFC) and ensures that all established procedures are followed in a manner that is friendly, courteous and professional.
8. May attend sales meetings as directed by supervisor.
9. Discusses payment options with the customer, including financing options. Accesses the order through the POS system, generating a customer invoice.
10. Works with the customer to determine the best delivery date that meets the customer's needs.
11. Resolves delivery date issues with customer teaming with the HFC and Manager as appropriate.
12. In the case where a customer is unsure about their decision to purchase, teams with the HFC along with management, as appropriate, to find an alternative to meet the customer's needs.
13. At times, confirm the delivery with the customer and may partner with the Warehouse team (Delivery Driver/Helper) to confirm receipt, order, and to discuss any specific delivery specifications.
14. Partners with the management team depending on the nature of any issue that may arise-Sales
(HFC/Sales Manager), payment (HFC/Sales Manager/Store Manager), delivery (Delivery Driver/Helper, Warehouse Manager).
15. Assists in resolving customer issues. Ensures customer satisfaction.
16. Follows all established office standards, store policies and applicable store procedures in a timely and accurate manner.
