Job description

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM (other hours as needed)

A MDU Coordinator is needed to identify and prepare Multi Dwelling Units for fiber conversion. The position will work closely with all local supervisors as well as the Engineering department.
Responsibilities include:
  • Researching and making initial contact with MDU owners or their representatives
  • Interacting and coordinating with MDU owners and/or management companies as needed
  • Interacting with contractor supervisors and MDU crews
  • Inventory and ordering of MDU material and tools
  • Q/C contractors and invoicing for accuracy
  • Q/C checks of completed projects
  • Responsible for updating records in multiple data platforms as each job progresses
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
  • 5-10 years' experience in cable and fiber installations
  • Established residency in Pennsylvania
  • Valid PA Driver's License and good driving record
  • Exceptional knowledge reading blueprint and fiber splicing sheets to provide logistics and technical information to MDU personnel and contractors
  • Exceptional knowledge of and experience with both RF and Fiber Optics
  • Excellent Project Management skills
  • Excellent Communication skills - Oral and Written
  • Time Management and Organizational Skills
  • Ability to manage multiple construction crews for priority projects
  • Ability to work effectively and professionally in a team environment
