We're Looking For:

A Transportation & Consignment Manager who will orchestrate the auction selection and vehicle transport lifecycles for LaneLink's remarketing operations. This leader ensures vehicles are efficiently consigned to optimal physical auctions based on asset data and geography while managing the end-to-end transport process. You will lead a high-performing team focused on reducing cycle times, controlling costs, and ensuring vehicles are positioned for successful sale through strategic partner coordination.

You Bring:

  • Core Knowledge (Logistics & Remarketing)

    • Deep understanding of auction routing, consignment workflows, and transport lifecycles.

    • Knowledge of remarketing performance objectives and asset-based decision-making.

  • Functional Expertise

    • Experience managing third-party vendor relationships (carriers, auctions, and storage partners).

    • Expertise in business impact modeling for cost control and cycle-time reduction.

    • Team leadership with a focus on KPI/SLA accountability and professional development.

  • Technical Expertise

    • Proficiency in operational data analysis and tracking tools to monitor performance trends.

    • Technical fluency to identify risks within the transport supply chain and implement process improvements.

You Own:

  • Consignment Strategy & Auction Routing (30%)

    • Define and standardize workflows for vehicle placement to ensure timely auction assignment.

  • Transportation Operations & Execution (25%)

    • Oversee scheduling, dispatch, and tracking to ensure high-quality delivery across all lanes.

  • People Leadership & Development (20%)

    • Lead and coach the consignment team; establish clear accountability frameworks and growth plans.

  • Partner & Client Relationship Management (15%)

    • Align with repo agencies, auctions, and carriers to meet service expectations and pricing agreements.

  • Optimization & Cost Control (10%)

    • Monitor transport costs and implement process improvements to raise the bar on operational efficiency.

You Drive:

    • Translating remarketing strategy into clear operational goals and transport plans.

    • Removing blockers and managing dependencies across the transport lifecycle.

  • Results:

    • Delivering measurable outcomes in cycle time, cost per move, and SLA adherence.

    • Using performance data to refine routing strategies and inform future logistics decisions.

Who You Will Work With:

Reporting to the Remarketing Business Operations Manager, this role will collaborate with the following groups on a daily basis:

  • LaneLink Leadership and Field Operations.

  • External Auctions, Carriers, and Repo Agencies.

  • Sales and Customer-facing teams to communicate performance and resolutions.

Where You Work:

Your work is performed as a Hybrid or Remote employee, depending on business needs and location.

Must Have's:

  • 5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, remarketing, or auction operations.

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business or related field or comparable experience.

  • Proven experience managing people and fast-paced operational workflows.

  • Experience working with third-party vendors, including carriers and auctions.

  • Strong communication, prioritization, and analytical problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have's:

  • Experience working specifically with repo agencies.

  • Familiarity with Google Suite products, Remarketing programs such as AutoIMS, MMR, Edge Pipeline.

  • Background in scaling logistics operations or high-growth environments.

  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS platforms or automotive-related technology.
