HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Planner in the Food & Beverage manufacturing industry in Richmond, IN!


Salary: $70,000 – $90,000/year + 5% Bonus

About the Role

This role supports plant maintenance and reliability operations through maintenance planning, CMMS administration, MRO inventory coordination, and project support. The Maintenance Systems Coordinator will help drive equipment reliability, improve maintenance workflows, and ensure efficient execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Job Responsibilities

• Support daily maintenance operations and plant projects to help maintain production efficiency and uptime

• Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedules

• Manage onsite MRO inventory, including parts availability and inventory accuracy

• Generate, schedule, and track maintenance work orders through CMMS systems

• Coordinate material requests, supplier schedules, project timelines, and contractor activities

• Review and evaluate parts availability, cost, quality, and lead times for maintenance planning

• Determine workforce, scheduling, tooling, and spare parts requirements for maintenance jobs

• Assist with planning and coordination of large maintenance projects and shutdown activities

• Maintain accurate bill of materials and parts cross-referencing information

• Manage work order backlog and improve maintenance planning and inventory processes

• Partner cross-functionally with production, vendors, contractors, and other departments to resolve operational issues and support continuous improvement


Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

• 2–5 years of maintenance planning, scheduling, reliability, or related maintenance experience

• Experience working with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite

• Knowledge of maintenance operations in a manufacturing or production environment

• Mechanical knowledge of high-speed production, packaging, or processing equipment preferred

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize work orders, schedules, and maintenance activities effectively

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work cross-functionally with maintenance, production, and outside vendors

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
