Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Lifecycle Management: Lead, direct, and oversee private land development projects seamlessly from the initial planning stages through to final construction and project closeout.
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact to maintain, strengthen, and grow robust client relationships through clear communication and delivery excellence.
  • Agency Coordination: Interface and coordinate directly with local municipalities, regulatory agencies, and public stakeholders to secure project approvals and ensure full code compliance.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate workflows with internal technical engineering teams to align design parameters, track deadlines, and monitor project budgets.
  • Strategic Growth: Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities to align with the company's succession plan, preparing to step into a full office management and leadership role.

Required Qualifications:
  • Core Experience Level: Minimum 10+ years of solid professional experience in civil engineering project management.
  • Private Land Development: Proven track record of successfully managing Private Land Development projects from inception to completion.
  • Licensing: Must possess an active California Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Project & Client Management: Strong, demonstrated capability in running project financials, resource scheduling, and handling high-value client communication.
  • Regulatory & Municipal Fluency: Solid experience negotiating and coordinating project scopes with local municipalities and structural regulatory agencies.

Preferred Qualifications
  • High proficiency and technical design familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D software applications.
  • Inherent leadership potential with a clear desire to scale up quickly into a comprehensive office management and regional operations role.

Base Salary - USD $140,000 to $185,000
