  • Location: 201 Post Rd. Anchorage, AK 99501 Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full Time Schedule: rotational - 28 days on, 14 days off. Seasonal position, ends in November, starts again in April 2027More details upon interview!

At ESS Support Services our General Helpers are responsible for providing the highest standard of quality in a challenging and dynamic environment for the entire facility.  From general housekeeping to maintaining a safe and sanitary galley and kitchen area and assisting with food preparation as necessary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. All essential functions of the role are to be performed on our client location(s). Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, common areas, and kitchen spaces to high standards.
  • Launder, fold, and organize linens; ensure beds and rooms are guest-ready.
  • Assist with basic food prep, dishwashing, and kitchen cleanup.
  • Stock and replenish supplies in rooms, kitchen, and storage areas.
  • Remove trash and recyclables; maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Set up and restock beverage stations, condiments, and dining areas.
  • Ensures the highest sanitary standards are maintained in accordance with company, client and government requirements
  • Provide friendly, helpful service to guests, client, and team members.
  • Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
  • Sets up assigned bar, stocks all beer, wine, paper products, straws and stirrers, glassware, and ice.
  • Takes and/or processes orders for drinks practices prudent portion control
  • Provides quality customer service through one-on-one attention to detail.
  • Advises management of purchasing needs with a focus on minimizing waste and avoiding product shortages.
  • Perform other functions and duties as assigned.

Prior housekeeping, remote camp, offshore, or restaurant experience - Preferred
