I've proudly served as a State Farm agent since 1985 and have spent more than 40 years helping individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most. I earned my bachelor's degree in business from East Carolina University, and over the years I've built an office culture centered around knowledge, trust, and building long lasting relationships with our customers and community.
Our office is friendly, supportive, and team oriented with a work hard, play hard mentality. We currently have three full time team members and one part time team member, and we're excited to continue growing our team. With over 85 years of combined insurance experience in the office, we pride ourselves on providing personalized guidance, respecting our customers' budgets, and delivering the kind of small town service people can count on.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a Customer Relations Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Gary Elliott - State Farm Agent, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you a fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support.
We look forward to connecting with you if you are the ideal customer-focused and empathetic team member we are searching for. We anticipate internal growth opportunities for especially driven and sales-minded candidates.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage customer inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Maintain customer records and update information as needed.
  • Assist with customer retention strategies.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in customer service preferred.
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly.

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
