Summary/ObjectiveThe Raw Material & Recipe Specialist is responsible for monitoring and adjusting existing recipes for optimal cost reduction.
Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Test recipes and optimize them with the aim of reducing production costs and boosting revenue.
  • Reduce the complexity of recipes by lowering the number of raw materials.
  • Compile recommended actions for R&D with the aim of lowering the number of raw materials in recipes.
  • Coordinate a diverse range of recipes in response to recipe-related complaints.
  • Critically examine and challenge the addition of new raw materials by R&D.
  • Optimize and continuously update a uniform global range of raw materials.
  • Continuously update Doehler's internal 'traffic light system' on the availability of raw materials from a cost and availability point of view.
  • Create and maintain product-specific master data and recipes in SAP, including product-specific requirements from the TCS and R&D divisions.
  • Document efficient and effective processes in the company's internal IT systems.
  • Ensure an optimum exchange of information within the division and with the interfaces.

Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment most of the time. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers. While performing this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is occasionally exposed to wet, warm, humid and cold temperatures.
