Front Desk Supervisor

We are hiring a Front Desk Supervisor to oversee daily front desk operations, support and coach front desk associates, and ensure consistent delivery of outstanding guest service. This role serves as a key link between front desk staff and hotel leadership, helping ensure smooth operations throughout each guest’s stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily front desk operations including check-in, check-out, reservations, and guest services
  • Lead, coach, and support Front Office Associates to ensure service standards are consistently met
  • Act as the first point of contact for guest concerns and assist with prompt, professional resolution
  • Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and ensuring proper staffing levels
  • Ensure accurate cash handling, payment processing, and daily balancing procedures
  • Monitor room inventory, rate changes, room assignments, and VIP arrivals
  • Coordinate closely with Housekeeping and Maintenance regarding room status and guest needs
  • Train new front desk team members and support ongoing performance development
  • Ensure front desk procedures, brand standards, and company policies are followed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment
  • Communicate effectively with hotel management and all departments
  • Serve as Manager on Duty as assigned
  • Represent MCHG positively and professionally with guests, vendors, and the community
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Qualifications
  • Previous hotel front desk experience required; supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong guest service and hospitality leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems; experience with hotel PMS preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance, positive attitude, and reliable attendance
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift 35–50 lbs as needed
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Scheduled days off will be weekdays.
