Job Summary
The Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West is looking for a passionate and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team and help lead the front office to success. In this key role, you’ll support the Front Desk Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving occupancy and revenue goals. You’ll also inspire, train, and develop your team—creating a welcoming environment where both guests and employees thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Front Desk Manager with daily operations and overall team performance.

  • Prepare weekly sales forecasts and business reports to support strategic planning.

  • Create and manage front desk schedules, adjusting staffing based on occupancy and business needs.

  • Oversee check-in, check-out, and reservation procedures to ensure efficient, professional service.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and guest satisfaction.

  • Monitor room rates, inventory, and revenue strategies to maximize occupancy and ADR.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Strong mathematical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Minimum of 2 years of hotel front office experience preferred.

  • Experience with Opera PMS and IHG systems preferred.

  • High school diploma or GED required; degree in Hospitality Management preferred.

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.

  • Professional, well-groomed appearance consistent with company standards.
