CAD Designer/Drafter (Autodesk Inventor)

Bettendorf, IA | 1st Shift (Monday–Friday) | Employee-Owned Company (ESOP)

Design real-world systems used in industrial facilities and large-scale data centers across North America.

We are currently seeking a Mechanical CAD Designer with Autodesk Inventor experience to join our Chimney Systems Division in Bettendorf. In this role, you will collaborate with engineering, production, and project teams to design systems used in complex industrial and infrastructure projects.

Recent graduates from CAD, drafting, or engineering technology programs are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

  • Create 3D models and technical drawings from customer specifications • Develop submittal drawings and coordination models using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD • Produce manufacturing-ready drawings for fabrication and production teams • Review designs for accuracy, quality, and manufacturability • Work with engineers, project managers, and customers to refine designs • Support projects used in industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, and data center infrastructure

What We're Looking For

Education

  • Associate's degree in CAD, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field required • Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience

  • 1–3 years of CAD design experience preferred • Recent graduates with strong technical ability are encouraged to apply

Technical Skills

  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor preferred • Experience with SolidWorks or Creo may also be considered • Strong AutoCAD skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
