Southeastern Traffic Supply (STS) is traffic control company servicing both Georgia and Florida, that provides flagging, equipment rental, and MOT plans, permitting, and road safety services. We exist to save lives by improving the safety of our roadways for our Employees, Customers & the Traveling Public. Our success stems from quality execution, dependable service, and commitment to safety.
We are seeking a computer-savvy CAD Tech to join our team! The CAD Technician is responsible for designing traffic control plans to meet required City, County, & Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) specifications for our Florida worksites.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Producing high quality traffic control plans in a timely manner.
  • Reviewing construction drawings and field data.
  • Creating, editing, and maintaining drawings, documents, and spreadsheets.
  • Organizing, planning, and prioritizing workload.
  • Understanding and executing traffic control plans per governing agency specific requirements.
  • Builds and maintain rapport with different governing agencies and vendors.
  • Maintaining electronic copies of all submittals and correspondence according to the company policy

What we are looking for:
  • Two- or four-year college degree or relevant design experience. (We will train the right candidate in lieu of degree).
  • Superb customer service skills
  • High levels of oral and written skills
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Comfortable using Microsoft products and learning new internal applications.
  • Flexibility - this role will require working as a one-person team as well as in group as projects require.

Working Environment:
  • This position is in-office.
  • General office environment: Works generally at a desk in a well-lighted, air-conditioned cubicle/office, with moderate noise levels.
  • Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours.
