Job description

Job Summary:
IronArch Technology is an award-winning Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business specializing in providing innovative solutions and world-class services to Federal Government clients. The PC Technician will provide technical, operational, and training support for PC desktop hardware and software, primarily serving the Army Corps of Engineers' Revolutionary Information Technology Services program.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Install and test output devices, PCโ€™s, and other peripherals, configure the operating system, load shrink-wrap programs, and other application software programs.
โ€ข Troubleshoot output devices, PCโ€™s, and peripheral incidents, perform hardware and software diagnostics, coordinate needed repairs, resolve output device system problems, including coordination between users and components of a local area network, and participate in the evaluation of system configuration and software.
โ€ข Ensuring printer firmware and CAC software are in compliance, and work instructions are current.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข AA/AS degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
โ€ข 4+ years of professional, applicable experience
โ€ข Current DoD 8570 IA Baseline Certification, IAT Level I (examples: A+ CE, Network+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security certifications)
โ€ข Must obtain appropriate DoD 8570 IA Computing Environment Certification within 6 months of employment
โ€ข May need to travel
โ€ข Normal work hours are Monday through Friday; 8 hour shift between 6AM and 6PM local time. After-hours support may be required on an infrequent basis
โ€ข Prior experience in the maintenance and repair of printers manufactured by HP, Ricoh, Xerox, and Lexmark. Experience should include the use of vendor proprietary configuration tools, monitoring tools, and coordinating third-party warranty repairs
โ€ข Experience installing and configuring firmware and CAC authentication software on printer devices
โ€ข Experience supporting Windows 10 and MS Office 2013
โ€ข Experience using Remedy or a similar ticketing system
โ€ข Strong analytical and follow-through skills
โ€ข Strong verbal and written communication skills
โ€ข Demonstrated experience writing process documentation
โ€ข Ability to coordinate and get cooperation from multiple areas within IT to accomplish assignments
โ€ข Ability to work well independently on defined tasks
โ€ข Ability to work well as part of a team
โ€ข Secret Clearance required prior to start
Preferred:
โ€ข Prior USACE/ACE-IT experience
โ€ข Experience working in a DoD environment
โ€ข Experience supporting Office 365
โ€ข Knowledge of PowerShell scripting a plus
โ€ข Experience using SharePoint to organize and store documents
