Job description

Empath Health is seeking a tech savvy and customer-service-oriented Application Support/EMR Help Desk Specialist to join our team in West Palm Beach. This position is Hybrid.
This full-time position works Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and has an on call rotation helping ensure patients and families receive a smooth, supportive experience during an important stage of care.
What You'll Do
  • Responsible for EMR (HCHB) user support of clinical applications.
  • Respond to incoming service tickets, troubleshoot issues, and document resolutions
  • Serve as a help desk resource for staff using EMR and related clinical applications, ensuring timely and accurate problem resolution.
  • Assists with diversified projects in support of activities and operations of the EMR and Business Applications Departments

What You'll Need
  • Associate's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Requires 1 year of experience in a help desk or patient care environment, preferably with Hospice and Home Health billing.
  • Mastery of essential general office procedures including, but not limited to: Outlook Email and Calendar.
  • Healthcare terminology and systems preferred.
  • Skilled in extracting and compiling data; able to format tables, graphs, slides, and statistical reports.
  • Experience with EMR required (Home Care Home Base preferred)
