Job description

Vali Incorporated seeks highly qualified Helicopter Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) to support AMS Flight School located in Milton, Florida. Position Responsibilities: * Provide flight instruction to students in accordance with FAA 14 CFR Part 61 and Part 141 standards * Provide ground instruction to students in accordance with FAA 14 CFR Part 61 and Part 141 standards * Maintain accurate student training records in accordance with approved Training Course Outlines (TCOs) * Maintain electronic student flight records as required by TCOs * Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief or Assistant Chief Flight Instructor Essential Skills / Job Functions: * Mentor students throughout flight and ground training * Maintain flight training standards in accordance with FAA regulations and AMS TCOs * Ensure students achieve required flight training milestones * Schedule and coordinate flight and ground training as needed * Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, strong listening skills, and effective communication; prioritize student development over flight time building * Maintain open and effective communication with the Chief and Assistant Chief Flight Instructor * Demonstrate a working knowledge of AMS TCOs * Demonstrate a working knowledge of FAA rules and regulations for Part 141 and Part 61 flight training * Maintain a safe working environment and ensure students understand and follow the AMS Safety Program * Complete all required documentation, including logbooks, flight documentation, endorsements, and related records * Exhibit strong customer service skills * Consistently represent and promote AMS flight training as a professional brand ambassador Position Qualifications: * Qualified to instruct in the Robinson R-22 Helicopter * FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) rating * FAA Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument (CFII) rating preferred. * Current FAA First- or Second-Class Medical Certificate * Ability to perform all job duties in accordance with Airman Certification Standards (ACS) * Proficient computer skills required to maintain accurate electronic training and student records Vali, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
