At Hearth Pizza Tavern, we’re not your average pizza place. We handcraft fresh dough, prepare house-made ingredients, and fire every pizza in our oven for the perfect finish.


We’re looking for energetic, dependable team members to join our pizza kitchen as Pizza Line Cooks/Pizza Makers. Whether you already have pizza experience or you’re eager to learn, we’ll train the right person on dough stretching, pizza building, oven execution, and the fast-paced rhythm of our kitchen. We are looking for dependable, hardworking kitchen professionals who can execute consistently while maintaining quality, speed, cleanliness, and teamwork.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Hand-stretch dough, build pizzas, and manage oven execution
  • Build pizzas with proper portioning, toppings, and presentation standards
  • Operate and manage oven cooking times for consistent quality
  • Work the pizza stations efficiently during busy lunch and dinner service
  • Prep ingredients, including cheeses, sauces, toppings, proteins, and garnishes
  • Maintain station cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
  • Communicate clearly with the kitchen team to ensure accurate ticket times
  • Support prep and closing/opening duties as needed
  • Learn kitchen systems and help maintain smooth service flow

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Previous pizza cook, line cook, or kitchen experience preferred
  • Experience in a scratch kitchen environment is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 50 lbs

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS

  • Days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Weekend availability is required
  • Flexible schedule preferred
