Role Overview

Windy City Paws is looking for a dependable person to join our professional team as a part-time Dog Walker! This is a W-2 employed position that receives benefits like paid time off (PTO) and 401(k) payroll contributions. Additionally, you will be provided with paid training and education on dog and cat behavior throughout your tenure with us! It's perfect for animal lovers looking to enrich their lives with new furry friends and earn supplemental income outside of their day job.


What You'll Do
  • Prepare the dogs in each household to go outside with appropriate safety gear
  • Lead 30-60 minute walks and active play sessions
  • Administer food, water, or medication per client instructions.
  • Clean up after pups outdoors and indoors as needed.
  • Send updates/photos and log behavior or health notes.
  • Build strong rapport with pets and their owners

We're Looking For:
  • Availability: At least 2 consistent days per week with some availability listed between 8am-4pm OR 3 days per weekday if NOT consistent.
  • Reliable commute to Chicago service areas listed above
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. and a minimum age of 18.
  • Capable of withstanding all weather conditions outside and several hours of walking each day.
  • A smartphone with a data plan for communication and tracking walks.
  • Open to last-minute requests
  • Willing to pick-up/ drop-off keys from the office; this could be multiple times throughout the week if necessary
  • 6 Month Commitment Minimum

Pay & Perks
