Summary

The Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for helping transform internal Trimedx applications into scalable, secure, customer-facing SaaS products. This individual should be someone who not just executes but helps drive the solution with system engineering thinking. Experience with integrations/API skillsets not just front-end web development is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack SaaS applications supporting three major Trimedx platforms.
  • Build and enhance customer-facing web applications, APIs, and backend services that support healthcare operations workflows.
  • Develop scalable microservices and event-driven architectures to support multi-tenant SaaS deployments.
  • Partner closely with Product Management, UX, Data Science, Infrastructure, Security, and DevOps teams to deliver new capabilities from concept through production.
  • Familiarity with Greenfield development
  • Familiarity with secure authentication, authorization, and role-based access control (RBAC) for internal and external users.
  • Build and consume APIs that integrate with enterprise systems, healthcare technologies, and third-party platforms.
  • Contribute to cloud-native architecture decisions focused on scalability, resiliency, observability, and maintainability.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies, and DevSecOps best practices.
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and user experience through monitoring, telemetry, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in architecture reviews and help establish foundational platform capabilities that can be leveraged across multiple healthcare operations products.

Required Technical Skills

  • Provides level 3 support for area of expertise.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves a wide range of systems problems.
  • May recommend standards and best practices including capacity planning, recovery strategies and security for supported areas.
  • Oversees work of others to ensure code quality.
